Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants is an award-giving ceremony to restaurants and culinary individuals for their excellent performance. These awards give spotlight to restaurants in Asia and help to boost tourism in Asia. The first Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants started in 2013, and restaurants in Thailand have been on this list, not only in the top 50 but also top 10 best restaurants every year.

This has been an incredible year for Thailand because so many Thai restaurants have made their way to the list. With this being the first physical awards in some time there was a lot to celebrate. Here’s a breakdown of what happened at the awards in pictures and what you need to know:

As mentioned earlier, Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants doesn’t give an award to the no.1 restaurant and rank restaurants in Asia but also give awards to individuals as well.
