For couples who prefer to celebrate in the afternoon with a special tea set, the Anantara Siam Bangkok has prepared a very special programme, in collaboration with jewellery brand Pandora and Thai artist Tossapon Kongpipattanakarn. Called “The House of Eternity”, couples can enjoy delights such as floral macarons, rose and lychee choux, chocolate fondue, house-smoked duck breast in a bun, and more, alongside tea or coffee. If afternoon tea is your thing as a couple, The House on Sathorn offers one of the most romantic settings for one in the city. Available from February 10–14, their Valentine’s Day Afternoon Tea features Valrhona Feves strawberry scones, strawberry mint cheesecake, rose chiffon loaf, and Valentine’s macarons, among other delights! Available until the end of March, The Okura Prestige’s Bangkok latest themed tea set “Tsubaki Afternoon Tea” is both a celebration of love and the romantic tsubaki flower season of Japan. A deviation from mainly rose and strawberry flavours at this time of year, expect unique tsubaki-infused pastries as well as cherry and cranberry instead. The afternoon tea set is priced 1,950++ baht for two.

Avialable throughout February is a romantic chocolate-centric afternoon tea set at the Lobby Lounge of the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park hotel. Some of the sweets to look forward to are raspberry chocolate hearts, lemon vodka lollies, macarons, “nama choco”, bon bons, sorbets, scones, and more; while on the savoury front, there’s ham and cream cheese rolls, smoked salmon and waffle, duck breast, and goat cheese tarts. Every couple will be treated to two chocolate strawberry frappes, plus a choice of tea or coffee. The Chocolate Afternoon Tea is priced at 1,189++ baht per couple.

This February 11–14 only, Capella Bangkok is offering a special Valentine’s Day-themed afternoon tea set at the Tea Lounge overlooking the hotel’s courtyard and the Chao Phraya River. Executive Pastry Chef Sylvain Constans has created a selection of pastries, highlighting romantic flavours like chocolate, strawberry, and wild honey. The Valentine’s Day Afternoon Tea is priced at 3,000++ baht for two, or 5,000++ baht net inclusive of two glasses of Capella Bangkok’s signature champagne rosé. Tea is served between noon and 6pm.
