Arguably one of the best burgers in town. The classic American style burger with ultra juicy meat patties topped with brioche buns will have you licking your fingers and asking for more of that good ol’ American comfort food. Food truck turned restaurant, Daniel Thaiger has earned a large fan base from expat and locals alike since their first opening as Bangkok’s pioneer food truck.
Their burgers are handcrafted, with freshly made beef patties (beef/pork/lamb – depending on which branch you go to) in classics like the Thaiger (B160) with grilled onions, tomatoes, lettuce and their signature Thaiger sauce, or Cowboy (B200) with double bacon, cheese, jalapenos, grilled onions and barbecue sauce. Sides include the classic french fries (B150), the crunchy onion rings (B200), parmesan truffle fries (B200), and jalapeño poppers (B200). Or if you want more Thai flavours that go perfectly with beers, the spicy pork ball larb moo thod (B180) is your choice to go.
The bright red food truck is usually stationed at Sukhumvit 30/1, which will sometimes be seen at a special pop up events and other venues around town.
Daniel Thaiger has since then opened two more permanent locations, one in Sukhumvit 11, joining forces with Brew Beers, Ciders with an extensive list of imported beers for when you simply miss home or craving that juicy, buttery, let-me-hit-that-spot comfort food, and another at the one spot Bangkokian hipster community mall The Commons in Thonglor.
