Let's face it. If you have ever ventured in the Thonglor area of Bangkok then you know you are spoilt for choice when it comes to brunch. However, Luka Moto does it so well we may have to give them the crown. Luka cafe is already a well-known favourite in the Sathorn area. Their sister branch opened in 2018. Now perched in the corner of the taste mall in soi 11 and has kept all their tasty dishes. Created in partnership with BMW Thailand, the venue is spread out over 2 floors with a couple of BMW's motorcycles dotted around the ground floor which also acts as a showroom.
Luka Moto has its own set of specials and even a change in restaurant concept in the evenings. But it's the all-day brekkie that gets us excited. Amongst the healthy options such as granola and an acai bowl, we struggled to choose between three big contenders. To start, we have the breakfast burrito. A sizeable portion features, cheese, 2 organic eggs, Sloane's sausage, black quinoa, avocado, sour cream and spicy corn salsa to top it all of! Next up is the Luka shakshuka. brought in the pan we have a mix of organic eggs, spicy grapy, capsicum, chorizo, yogurt, and sourdough. and finally, we have the Gangnam style chicken & waffles, need we say more?
Luka really cares about their concept and you can see this with the sustainable and local ingredients they use in their food. On top of this is a well-crafted list of tea and coffee. much of it is organic or single origin. All coffee is also sourced from within Thailand. And, of course, is their pet-friendly attitude so you will always see a number of dogs lounging about!
