From bartending duo Sebastian De La Cruz and Philip Stefanescu is a neon tropical paradise of whitewashed walls, bright flamingos and floral morals. Tropic city lies in the now trendy neighbourhood of the Charoen Krung area and has become a favourite destination to dance the night away and drink rum focussed cocktails. Having picked up a host of awards including listed no. 31 in Asia's 50 best bars and Hospitality Team of the Year 2019, this is a hotspot on our list of top bars.

Rum is definitely at the centrepiece of this menu. Expanding on what the concept of tropical can be, they use a variety of modern techniques such as fat washing, clarifying and using homemade tinctures to create interesting and complex flavours. We love ‘three dots and a splash’ a straight-up cocktail of coconut fat washed Diplomatico, pineapple shrub, chocolate liqueur and banana tincture 370B and the ‘bone thugs-n-harmony’ with bone marrow & caramelized pineapple washed Bacardi Carta Oro, Bacardi 8 Anos and angostura bitters 420B.

Together with our dynamic team of both established talents & rising stars, we are redefining what is considered tropical while playing around with complex flavours & unusual combinations of different fruits, vegetables, herbs & spices.
