Younger's Bar Bangkok - Why We Love It

Younger's, the new little cafe/ bar at the start of the Thonglor highstreet, serves up tasty bites and well-priced beer in a cosy environment. With a diverse menu, the venue is open all day and spread over 3 floors. Entering the family-run business, you will find chilled out music and a warm welcome.

You can expect all the usual coffee range all well crafted and presented nicely, we were especially glad to see the metal straws used for the cold options we used it for our 'Cookies and Cream and Matcha latte Blends. The fridge holds a selection of craft beers and Singha on draft, with the happy hour being 'buy two get one free!" The spiral staircase takes you to the second floor where you will find some cosy sofas to lounge on and a few board games to idly while away the afternoon. If you are not a beer person then you can always opt for one of their well made classic cocktails such as martini or sour.

The food at Younger's is served all day with Thai classics such as Khao Pad which can be served with pork, chicken or seafood. There is also a creamy rich Khao Soi which is often hard to come by in the city. Western options are also available such as spaghetti, with a Thai twist. Our top pick is the Younger's sausage set. Five types of sausage with mashed potato and dips like mustard are such a win with a cold beer! And they gravy is top-notch stuff perfect for pouring on your spuds.  Or, another top pick to pair with your bevvy is the fried calamari with tartar sauce. the prices are very reasonable for the area and we love nothing more than sitting at the window table and watching the world go by.
