The Paper Plane Project Group gives us yet another reason to pay a visit to Thonglor after work with their new destination cocktail bar, Gir. Known for Bar Scofflaws, Bar 335, Tichuca, and the co-working-space-slash-bar Paper Plane Project, the team is introducing a speakeasy – that specialises in using distinctive ingredients and techniques to create new tastes.

Hidden at the T-One Building office building, Gir appears to be the perfect combination of nature and human creativity, drawing inspiration from Gir National Park in India. The dimly lit atmosphere with cave-like-interiors accented by foliage removes you from the usual experiences of the urban location, inviting peace of mind and relaxation in “nature” as you sip on your drink.

To complement the venue’s “coexistence” concept, the bar has developed unique  drinks using a selection of quality ingredients and specific techniques. The ‘Natural Drinks’ side of the menu highlights cocktails that use natural processes, such as infusion,  to create flavours and aromas. ‘Human Drinks’, on the other hand, showcases man-made techniques, like  fermentation or distillation.

The cosy cocktail bar presents a creative boozy experience where the customer’s senses will be delighted. With the added charm of being situated on the 40th floor, Gir provides stunning views of the city from its relaxed hideaway setting. .
