The Sarnies group has done it again with a new location serving their usual elevated comfort food in the heart of their roastery in Soi Tonson. Sarnies Roastery is the new location with the same food-forward cafe yet a bright, open feel as opposed to the dark atmosphere of its flagship restaurant.
Sarnies’ newest addition expands their growing coffee program with the addition of pinewood interiors that pay homage to the numerous pine trees that surround the canal, which fits its name of Ton Son.
In support of local producers and manufacturers, the roastery provides a wide range of local blends and single origins coffee beans. A wide range of flavours are available, whether you’re looking for chocolate, light and fruity, or something richer and less acidic. Our choice was their ‘Chocolate for Days’ which was exactly what it sounded like.
Sarnies is known for its love of creating great products through experimenting. A clarification process gave their White Coffee Lemonade its creamy finish, and their Caffe-Kaffir Tonic is another of their trademark coffee beverages that highlight their fresh roasts.
Their coffee program is complemented by a variety of pastries, bread and brunch items from the Sarnies bakery. Almost everything on the menu is made in-house.
You’ll enjoy their sourdough bread and savoury sandwiches like their Smoked Salmon Breakfast Sarnie filled with house-smoked salmon, organic free-range scrambled eggs topped with creamy yum sauce. A bagel stacked with house-cured pastrami called the Reuben also called to us from the menu. We chose a Cashew Butter& Grape Jam Croissant which went perfectly with our ‘Chocolate For Days’ flat white. There aren’t enough words to describe how delicious it was. We could have eaten three!
For each concept Sarnies pulls out, they maintain the same foodie culture with their focus on quality ingredients made in-house. The new venture provides all the comforts we love once again, and we look forward to the next one.
Sarnie’s Roastery is now open daily from 7.30 am until 5 pm. When everything opens up, Sarnies Roastery will transform into a buzzing nightspot where you can stay as late as 10 pm while enjoying a drink and filling meal.
