Teens of Thailand Bangkok - Why We Love It

Teens of Thailand, most known for its iconic wooden door, is a tiny little gin bar on the outskirts of China Town. The small alley in Soi Nana of Yaowarat has built up a reputation for great venues and bartender + owner Niks Anuman-Rajadhon is partly to thank with his other bar, the Asia Today cocktail bar, being across the road. Once there wasn't much to see and do in this part of town but it has become a hub of life and activity, with Tep bar, wallflower cafe and 23 bar and gallery all adding the fray.

Teens of Thailand has a great range of 100 gins which they use in a variety of cocktails and gin + tonic pairings. the menu adapts with new gins and a board adjacent features house specials or promoted gin. We can't help but go for one of their expertly made Martinis. Or two.

The venue was once a storehouse and the vintage wooden front door, classic movie posters and dim lighting used as table make this a quaint and impactful cocktail bar. Being a small venue, seating is limited however it's well worth a wait. We recommend heading over early and make this the first stop of the night. Much of the shop-houses original architecture still remains so it's a perfect spot for some photo opportunities, especially when sitting at the piano!

Teens of Thailand is the first bar to visit when hitting this part of town and a perfect place to refresh with a cold gin and tonic after traversing the many avenues of China town. It's unpretentious nature and their focus on simple gin cocktails with local herbs and spices make this one of our top spots to visit in the city of Bangkok.
