VILLA FRANTZÉN  X  DR.LOOSEN

Bangkok welcomes one of the most renowned and influential wine producers in the world Ernst “Erni” Loosen for an exclusive wine dinner or lunch event. Ernst “Erni” Loosen’s family has been producing Rieslings for over 200 years in the Mosel. 

Since 1988 Erni has taken over the estate, and over time extended the family portfolio with two more wineries: Villa Wolf in Pfalz and J.Christopher in Oregon to produce Pinot Noirs.

In conjunction with Erni, Villa Frantzén’s newly appointed sommelier Jochen Sandkuhl has been curating the perfect wine pairing for the Nordic-inspired menu featuring wines from the Loosen family estates.

Erni Loosen will be featured at Villa Frantzén in two unique experiences. Each one of them is distinct in its own way, exploring different wines in the light of Loosen’s great narrative and personality.

A private 6-course dinner with Erni Loosen will be held in one of their most picturesque rooms, above the glasshouse with a terrace. The dinner event will commence with a special apéritif and two signature supplement servings served at the Villa Frantzén Cocktail Bar

17th December 12:00pm

Starting off with two signature servings from Villa Frantzén kitchen, Erni Loosen will lead a wine-tasting presentation on four wines that come from different areas along the Moselle river. This session will be followed by a 4-course lunch together with the winemaker, held in the picturesque private dining room on the first floor of our villa.
