Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, presented by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, unveils the lineup of top dining destinations ranked between 51st and 100th in the region ahead of its live awards ceremony. This prestigious list is curated by the votes of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy, an influential and gender-balanced group comprising 318 leaders from various sectors including food critics, chefs, restaurateurs, and culinary experts. With 12 fresh faces joining this year’s 51-100 list, the culinary landscape is set for a thrilling shake-up.

Here’s a glimpse of the 51-100 list:

Covering a diverse array of cuisines, the 51-100 list showcases restaurants hailing from 16 different cities. Singapore and Tokyo lead the pack, each boasting eight esteemed spots, including two and three new entries, respectively.

  • Lamdre in Beijing claims the coveted American Express One To Watch Award 2024, making its debut on the list at No. 97.
  • Bangkok shines with seven restaurants on the list, featuring newcomer Haoma at No. 90.
  • Hong Kong makes its mark with six culinary gems, including newcomer Howard’s Gourmet at No. 100.
  • Seoul secures five spots, welcoming three newcomers: Solbam (No. 65), Kwonsooksoo (No. 89), and Alla Prima (No. 91).
  • Shanghai and Mumbai each boast three entries, with The Bombay Canteen making its debut for the latter at No. 70.
  • Other cities like Colombo, Gurugram, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Manila, New Delhi, Shenzhen, and Toyama are also represented.

Singapore welcomes two newcomers: Peach Blossoms at No. 74 presents contemporary Chinese cuisine, while Mustard Seed at No. 81 offers a kaiseki-style experience celebrating local flavors.

Mumbai’s The Bombay Canteen, with its innovative approach to regional Indian cuisine, joins the list at No. 70, while Bangkok’s Haoma, led by Indian chef Deepanker Khosla, makes its mark at No. 90.

Beijing’s Lamdre, a vegetarian fine dining destination, earns the American Express One To Watch Award 2024, claiming the No. 97 spot. Hong Kong’s Howard’s Gourmet debuts at No. 100, showcasing reinvented Chinese fine cuisine.
