This boutique hotel in Hua Hin is the latest group of hotels within The Standard International Group portfolio collaborating with Sansiri Group. It is cute and well-decorated with a colourful palette. It has no private beach, so you have to take a five-minute walk to the beach, nor it is a big hotel, but it is perfect in its own right.

There are four types of rooms: Double Superior Room, Twin Superior Room, Double Deluxe Room, and Twin Deluxe Room. Every Superior Room is on the second floor and comes with a balcony where you can enjoy the view from above, while every Deluxe Room is on the first floor and has a front porch, so you can easily access the hotel's main pool.

Every room's bathroom is spacious and designed to give you privacy without feeling confined. The tall glass windows in the shower section, toilet sections and the side windows next to the mirror show you a view of a private pebble garden and the bamboo curtain. They give you comfort and safety and a glimpse of Zen while doing your personal business there.

Talking about safety, every room is equipped with electric mosquito repellent to keep the savage mosquitoes away from your room. You are safe, so there is no need for you to worry about being bugged by them.

The hotel has a restaurant called Chao Mong which means fisherman in Hua Hin and southern dialect. It serves international breakfast with some local dishes in the morning, but it serves locally sourced seafood in the evening.

One of the restaurant's well-beloved dishes is prawn roe light cream sauce spaghetti with grilled prawns. This dish is creamy and salty with a smoky smell from the grilled prawns.

A dish of mud crab marinated in a mixture of soy sauce, sugar and lime juice served with sliced garlic and chillies. It's salty, sweet, tangy and umami with a slight burn on your lips and tongue.

You can't fully arrive at The Peri Hua Hin if you don't try Seafood Steamboat. It's a seafood hotpot. First, choose a soup from the menu, then select raw seafood platter, but if that's not enough for you, you can select your favourite add-ons.

The staff are accommodating and friendly. From the receptionists to gardeners, they all are eager to do their jobs to help you with every need with an obviously big genuine smile on their faces.
