The second edition of “An Italian Affair” is here reuniting Chef Marco Avesani (La Bottega di Luca Restaurant), and Federico Balzarini (Bar Manager of Vesper Bar, Bangkok) to bring their sparkling personality to Phuket where Chef Nicola Pandolfo Testino is hosting them at Age Restaurant, Anantara Layan Resort.

Caviar Giaveri, the major sponsor of the event, is an expression of a thirty-year passion for excellence in fish farming, bringing together three rising Italian stars in Thailand.

This exclusive product, well known worldwide as an expression of excellence Made in Italy, will accompany not only the majority of the dishes presented by Chef Marco and Chef Nicola, but also the drinks arranged by Federico Balzarini.

Rather than having one dinner only, the event will extend over two days with food and drinks of top quality, always with an Italian twist, to highlight the unique products and skills of these three hospitality pros.

Saturday 30th July – from 19:00

Chef Marco and Chef Nicola will share the kitchen for the preparation of an exclusive and special dinner, presenting dishes such as Stuffed pappardelle pasta with seafood ragout, bisque, smoked butter and Caviar Giaveri, along with bespoke cocktails.

Sunday 31st July – from 12:00

The following day, new drinks by Federico are going to shine for a remarkable Sunday “bubbling and musical” brunch you don’t want to miss!
