EDITION Hotels proudly introduced its newest addition, The Tokyo EDITION, Ginza, marking its 19th global property and second venture within Tokyo’s bustling streets. The launch, spanning March 14th and 15th, welcomed a diverse array of international and local guests to both EDITION establishments in Tokyo, offering a rich showcase of Japanese tradition and modernity alongside an array new F&B and captivating performances.
On the evening of March 14th, guests were greeted at the 14-storey boutique hotel, where Sophie at EDITION, the hotel’s Japanese-infused modern brasserie, played host to an evening of culinary delights. The dinner menu showcased seasonal ingredients sourced directly from local suppliers, featuring dishes such as Grilled Salmon with Wilted Spinach and Horseradish Sauce, and Roasted Whole Chicken with Tokyo Yuzu Pepper and Fresh Herb Sauce. The night was further enriched by performances from N’Dea Davenport and DJ sets by renowned artists, including Nick Grimshaw, AMIAYA, and Daito Manabe.
Punch Room, the hotel’s intimate lounge inspired by 19th-century London private clubs, offered guests a unique punch bowl ritual alongside performances by Kona Rose and DJ sets by SHUZO, YAMATO, and Sunny. Meanwhile, the Lobby Bar provided a chic setting for guests to mingle amidst elegant furnishings and striking artwork.
The following day, guests were treated to Champagne with panoramic views of Tokyo Tower at The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon, before enjoying a dinner at The Jade Room + Garden Terrace, the hotel’s signature restaurant helmed by British chef Tom Aikens. The evening concluded at Gold Bar at EDITION, where an ensemble of DJs including Mademoiselle Yulia, YOSHIROTTEN, PELI, Aimee Phillips, and Nick Grimshaw kept the festivities alive well into the early hours, drawing an international crowd to revel in the city’s vibrant nightlife scene.
