On 8th June 2022, family-owned distillery William Grant & Sons opened the Distillers Library Bangkok. This exclusive space created for the continuously growing number of whisky enthusiasts in Bangkok is a way to celebrate the Grant family’s legacy.

The Grant family’s illustrious history began in 1887 when William Grant built his first distillery in the Northeast of Scotland with the help of his nine children and a stonemason.

His goal was to create the ‘best dram in the valley’. Six generations later, William Grant & Sons, a pioneer of the single malt category, remains family-owned and upholds the spirit of independence, determination and innovation held by its founder.

In addition, a number of extremely rare whiskies were introduced to Thailand for the first time, including one of only 148 bottles globally of The Balvenie 50 Years Old.

At The Distillers Library, collectors and connoisseurs can find a wide variety of limited-edition collections and exceptional single cask bottlings such as the 1973 Glenfiddich Armagnac, 1978 Hogshead and 1978 Oloroso casks.
