Rosewood Bangkok's 5th anniversary: Garden-inspired afternoon tea in collaboration with Tawn C

In honor of Rosewood Bangkok’s 5th anniversary and the celebration of International Women’s Day throughout March, Executive Chef Dustin Baxter cordially invites guests to immerse themselves in an afternoon tea experience inspired by an enchanting imaginary flower garden, crafted in collaboration with Tawn C. This delightful journey unfolds exclusively at the Lakorn European Brasserie, from now until May 31, 2024.

Dubbed “In Her Garden,” the concept unveils floral-patterned boxes brimming with delectable delights envisioned by Tawn Chatchavalvong, the renowned fashion designer and television personality behind Tawn C. Each whimsical tea set design guides guests through three acts symbolizing the stages of a woman’s life.

Act 1 heralds the innocence and curiosity of youth with the Young Hokkaido Scallop paired with Oscietra Caviar, Grapefruit, and Lotus Flower Petal, symbolizing vitality and exploration. Act 2 celebrates the blossoming of maturity and confidence with the elegant Smoked Salmon Sphere and Free Range Chicken Wellington. Act 3 resonates with the passion and fulfillment found in nurturing one’s pursuits, embodied in the exquisite Wagyu Beef Tom Yum with Crispy Fragrant Peppers, Sesame, and Gold Leaf.

Tawn C.’s vision extends to desserts, featuring a White Chocolate Madeleine and a Bittersweet Chocolate Financier, each reflecting the journey from innocence to maturity. Complementing this epicurean journey, the Garden Afternoon Tea Trolley offers enchanting sweets inspired by Tawn C.’s gowns and Chef Dustin’s vision, from Strawberry Tarts adorned with floral motifs to Tropical Éclairs evoking summertime blooms.

The “In Her Garden” experience is enriched by an exclusive exhibition titled “In His Garden: A TAWN C. Retrospective” at Rosewood Gallery, showcasing the designer’s creations from the past twelve years, aligning seamlessly with Rosewood Bangkok’s commitment to Art & Design.

Served daily from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. until May 31, 2024, at Lakorn European Brasserie, the “In Her Garden” Afternoon Tea awaits guests at THB 2,900 per couple.
