Earlier this month, the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok announced the reopening of its legendary Thai restaurant, Sala Rim Naam. Dating back to 1983, Sala Rim Naam was opened to entertain audiences with authentic Thai cuisine, couple with an immersive theatrical experience. After a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Sala Rim Naam returns to serve patrons with the same warm Thai hospitality, great cuisine, and stellar show.
What to Expect
Rest assured that the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok intends to relaunch Sala Rim Naam with a bang. The latest dinner show takes inspiration from the popular Korean Netflix series, King the Land, which saw main characters Goo Won and Cheon Sa-rang visit romantic locations on a holiday in Thailand’s capital. Sala Rim Naam is recreating that fantasy in the form of Thai traditional theatre, against the magical backdrop of the Chao Phraya River.
Guests will be able to enjoy expertly crafted, elegant royal Thai cuisine while being captivated by both the stunning view and cultural performance with a modern source of inspiration. This king combination promises to create an unforgettable for memory for diners.
At the moment, two different dinner sets are available for booking. The five-course dinner is priced 3,400++ baht per person, while the slightly lighter four-course dinner is priced 2,800++ baht per person.
