This year, expect an even bigger lineup of spicy delights from Bangkok’s top restaurants and chefs, alongside lively entertainment, including fire shows and a chilli-eating competition. Spice enthusiasts can embark on a culinary journey sampling fiery dishes from around the world, including Myanmar, India, China, South Korea, Pakistan, Mexico, Malaysia, Spain, and Thailand. With prices starting from just THB 120, there’s something for everyone, including vegetarian options.

Thep Nakorn: Chef “Ton” Thitid Tassanakajohn, renowned for Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants Le Du, returns with his irresistible Thai boat noodles and krapow.
Saneh Jaan: This one MICHELIN-Star gem offers top-notch ingredients from across Thailand. Chef “Toi” Pilaipon Kamnag serves up spicy stir-fried noodles, shrimp with coconut milk and Thai Jinda chilli paste, and spicy pork with lime and Prik Ki Nu Suan.
Inddee: Chef Sachin Poojary brings a modern Indian fine dining experience to Chilli Fest with Bhut Jolokia momo and kanthari chili paniyaram.
Restaurant Avant: Chef Haikal Johari blends European cuisine with an Asian touch. Expect grilled koshihikari with mentaiko and coconut, and pineapple gazpacho with mint and gochuchang.
Restaurant Coda Bangkok: Chef “Tap” Supasit Kokpol showcases his culinary prowess with spicy Northern sausage hot dog and signature burger.
Vaso: Chef Álvaro Ramos presents contemporary Spanish tapas like gambas al ajillo and patatas bravas.
Urban Refugee Kitchen by Na Projects: Enjoy Pakistani flavors while supporting refugee families with dishes like veggie samosas and biryani rice.
Aromkwan: Chef “Bank” Vishnu Prempuk’s Asian smokery offers smoked pork knuckle biryani and BBQ ikan bakar.

Lady GooGoo: GooGoo showcases Burmese cuisine with BTS (Burmese tea salad) and BCFC (Burmese chilli fried chicken).
Gaby, Megan & Diego: Latin flavors shine with dishes like coctel de camarón estilo “sinaloa” and flauta de Chorizo “naem”.
Summer Palace: Chef Shui Wing Yau prepares Sichuan dishes with a twist including spicy basil shrimp dumpling and poached chicken in Sichuan chilli oil sauce.
ANJU: Executive Sous Chef Shim Young Dae debuts with signature fishcake skewers and Korean fried chicken with chilli peppers.
Bar.Yard: Executive Chef Lamberto Valdez Lara grills up pork shoulder taco al pastor and lobster quesabirria at the rooftop oasis.
Exclusive Chilli-Fest Dinner
For a more exclusive Chilli Fest experience, Stock.Room offers a special five-course tasting menu crafted by Chef Pongtawat “Ian Kittichai” Chalermkittichai. This intimate dining event takes place at its Cooking Studio from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on April 27th.
Chef Ian, acclaimed as the Iron Chef Thailand and the Co-host and Head Chef of Hell’s Kitchen Thailand television series, presents a degustation menu inspired by his diverse restaurant concepts worldwide. Delve into Chef Ian’s culinary universe with each course meticulously designed to tantalize your taste buds.
Immerse yourself in this exclusive dining experience with limited seating available at THB 2,999++ per person, which also includes entry to Chilli Fest. Enhance your meal with a premium beverage pairing option priced at THB 1,199++ per person. Reservation in advance is essential.
Chilli-Eating Competition
The bravest hot heads are invited to join the chilli-eating competition to vie for the grand prize. Contestants need to show their mettle by munching on increasingly hot chilli peppers, up to a 2,400,000 Scoville heat units, with the last competitor standing the ultimate winner. There will be a prize for the second and third winners as well. The contest is free and open to the public to register prior to the event for whoever dares. Contestants will be shortlisted.
Chilli Market
Chilli-Fest guests get the chance to shop local chilli products from That Daeng Sauce and Firepower Hot Sauces and hip merchandise designed by Akkara Bangkok, including t-shirt, tote bag, bucket hat and cap, exclusively for Chilli Fest. California Ink Bangkok also makes a return, inking up festival patrons with chilli tattoos for free!
Chilli Fest takes place Saturday, 27th April 2024 at Urban Oasis from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. The entry fee is THB 250 that comes with one complimentary drink. Early bird ticketing is now available online at THB 200 only.
A portion of Chilli Fest proceeds will be donated to support Sati Foundation. Sati Foundation is a grass-roots non-profit founded in Thailand in 2013 that aims to improve healthcare and education for at-risk and underserved children and youth.
