Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin, a six-time Michelin-starred gem at the Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, warmly embraces the enchanting winter season with its exclusive ‘Winter Journey’ menu, available until March 31, 2024. Under the culinary mastery of the celebrated Michelin-star chef Henrik Yde-Andersen and the expertise of senior head chef Berm Chayawee Suthcharitchan, Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin continues its tradition of reinventing modern Thai cuisine.
At the core of the ‘Winter Journey’ menu lies the essence of ‘Thailand’s Senses,’ showcasing the distinct flavors of Thai ingredients, including spices, herbs, and fragrances, artfully blended with the seasonal delights of winter. Collaboratively curated by Chef Henrik and Chef Chayawee, this gastronomic adventure unfolds through 16 meticulously crafted courses.
The culinary odyssey commences with Sra Bua’s renowned eight ‘street food’ canapés, a delightful welcome for guests, featuring intriguing creations such as soy meringue with wasabi yoghurt and a ‘tom yum’ flavored moon-shaped edible bag.
Once seated at the dining table, the journey takes a deeper dive with the signature ‘five-spice duck consommé,’ complemented by homemade duck condiments. A refreshing ‘Hokkaido scallop salad’ tantalizes the palate before the rich and aromatic ‘Tom Kha morel mushroom stuffed with tagliatelle mushroom jelly and fresh black truffle’ unfolds. The culinary voyage continues with ‘ravioli Canadian lobster with Tom Yum lobster bisque,’ followed by a ‘warm beetroot gratin with salt cod fish and green curry ice cream.’
The pinnacle of the main course is marked by the arrival of ‘Massaman grilled veal striploin and sweetbread,’ paired with fragrant jasmine rice from Yasothon province. For a sweet finish, the ‘Citrus of Thailand’ offers a delightful contrast of sweet and sour with its ‘lime foam and pomelo sorbet.’ To conclude this culinary masterpiece, the ‘Mekong’ Thai rum flambé baby pineapple with coconut and pineapple ice cream is presented with artistic flair, followed by a whimsical array of petit fours.

This ‘Winter Journey’ is available at Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin until 31 March 2024 for lunch, with a selection of an eight-course journey at THB 2,900++ and a ten-course journey at THB 3,500++; and dinner with a 16-course journey at THB 4,300++.

Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin is open daily for luncheon from 12:00 to 15:00 (last orders for the ten-course journey at 13:00 and the eight-course journey at 14:00), with dinner served between 18:00 and midnight (last orders at 21:00).
